Emilia was immediately operated on to seal the aneurysm and describe the pain as “unbearable”. As she recovered, she continued, she experienced aphasia and murmured “nonsense”.

A week later “the aphasia passed,” added Emilia, and she left the hospital for a month after she was approved.

At a brain scan from 2013, she learned growth that “doubled” and she had to be operated on again.

“When they woke me up, I screamed in pain,” she wrote. “The process had failed. I had a massive bleeding and the doctors made it clear that my chances of recovering were precarious if they did not operate again. This time they had to access my brain in an old-fashioned way-through my skull.”

Fortunately, Emilia announced that she is now “at a hundred percent”.
