Justin Baldoni is suing NYT for $250 million over Blake Lively story
At the time, Freedman, an attorney for Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer Studios, dismissed Lively's complaint allegations, calling it “another desperate attempt to 'repair' her negative reputation.”
“These allegations are completely false,” he continued, “outrageous and intentionally salacious with the intent to publicly offend and rehash a media narrative.”
In the Gossip Girl alum's complaint, obtained by E! News, she detailed a meeting that took place in January 2024 to “address the hostile work environment that nearly derailed production.”
According to the documents, parties were present at the meeting, including Lively's husband Ryan ReynoldsBaldoni, as well as Wayfarer CEO and producer Jamey Heathamong other things, “discussed in detail the inappropriate behavior experienced by Ms. Lively, her staff and other cast and crew members at the hands of Mr. Baldoni and Mr. Heath.”
Those details included “showing nude videos or images of women, including the producer's wife” to Lively or her associates, no further “mention of Mr. Baldoni's or Mr. Heath's past 'pornography addiction,'” or mention of the actress, according to the complaint .” deceased father Ernie Lively.
As a result of the discussion, everyone present agreed that the behavior would “stop.” And filming was completed the following month.
