Josh Duhamel surprises local firefighters after playing one on the screen

Josh Duhamel emphasizes the heroes in his community.
The Transformers star surprised the firefighters of the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 88 with a donation of 20,000 US dollars and a Bobcat Utility Vehicle (UTV) to recognize their service to their community, especially during the devastating forest fires at the beginning of this year.
“I am so proud and grateful for the work that our firefighters do in this city,” he said to E! News' Francesca Amiker In an exclusive interview. “I think everyone who lives here understands how important he is for this community.”
After the actor played a fireman in the thriller fire in 2012, he has long appreciated the job for a long time-he quickly noticed that the real-life heroes are in his own league.
“Whenever you can meet the boys who do the actual act, it helps them,” he said. “A firefighter does not fight quite against fire, so I learn from these boys. I really admire them so much in the work they do, and I take it seriously.”
