Olympics 2026: Cross-country ski race is crashed by a dog in a completely adorable moment

Shaun White still tattered.

As the three-time gold medalist continues his stay at the 2026 Winter Olympics, he hits the halfpipe at Livigno Snow Park and takes a spin on his snowboard.

“I can’t believe it’s been 20 years,” Shaun noted in a video posted by NBC Sports on Feb. 12. “Twenty years have passed since I first fought for my first medal in Turin in 2006.”

Looking out over the snowy track, Shaun – who was just 19 when he won his first gold medal in the men’s halfpipe competition on his Olympic debut – reflected on his life after retirement.

“It was a little bittersweet, but still sweet,” Shaun admitted, holding back tears. “I would be lying if I said I didn’t dream of being able to compete here.”

Official participant or not, Shaun has proven that his love for the game has not waned.

“Oh, that was amazing!” the misty-eyed athlete exclaimed after finishing an impressive run. “I miss it. I miss it so much.”
