Sabrina Carpenter is intimidated by Miss Piggy on The Muppet Show

Sabrina Carpenter knows that Miss Piggy has good taste.

In fact, the “Manchild” singer says as much during the return of The Muppet Showwhich premieres February 4th on Disney+ and ABC. But was the Muppet icon even staged by the Grammy winner during filming of the special?

“Was I intimidated?” Miss Piggy bristled in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Will Marfuggi. “If anything, I think you should ask Sabrina if she was intimidated by this Moi.”

The half-century-old TV star added: “Well, don’t actually ask her that. Just believe me. She was very intimidated.”

But while Miss Piggy is used to being in the spotlight, her pal Kermit the Frog jumped in to praise the “Please Please Please” artist.

“What I think Miss Piggy is trying to say,” he said in the joint interview, “is that it was great to share the stage with Sabrina, who is a great singer and actress.”

With a sideways glance, Miss Piggy replied, “Sure, sure, sure, yes. That’s what I meant.”
