Tyga appears to have a new woman in his life, and it’s none other than Avril Lavigne. Considering the “Complicated” singer recently called off her engagement to Mod Sun, news of their romance came as a surprise to fans. An insider told Us Weekly that Tyga and Lavigne “were friends for years” before their relationship turned romantic. “SSince they had already established a foundation of friendship, it was an organic transition to something more,” the source said.
Another insider told the publication that the pair were just as surprised as fans were to find out they were linked. “Avril and Tyga never thought romance would materialize and it was totally unexpected,” they said. “They have no idea where things are going, but they enjoy spending time together. They have great chemistry.”
Tyga’s latest relationship has everyone talking, but this isn’t his first to make waves online. From 2014 to 2017, the rapper’s relationship with Kylie Jenner drew attention due to their eight-year age difference. In 2019, fans were also surprised to learn that Tyga and influencer Jordan Craig (who is the mother of Tristan Thompson’s son Prince) were once married. Oh, and he’s also been in a relationship with Blac Chyna, with whom he shares 10-year-old son King.
