Spirit Airlines warns against it without survival without more money

Spirit airlines Harned that it may not be able to survive as a Going care if it no longer brings cash from bankruptcy five months after the budget trip.

After Spirit dismantled his debts during the restructuring, he tried to attract bookings by marketing more high -quality products and looking for new opportunities to reduce costs. At the end of the last month, the airline announced plans to answer 270 pilots more this autumn.

“However, the company was still affected by the undesirable market conditions, including an increased domestic capacity and the continued demand for household trips in the second quarter of 2025, which leads to a challenging price environment,” said the company in its quarterly report in late Monday.

Since the financial results do not improve in the same pace agreements, Spirit requires additional cash. If this is not the case, this can lead to default settings. The airline would like to sell some aircraft, real estate or airport gates, it said.

“Due to the uncertainty of successfully fulfilling the initiatives to comply with the minimum liquidity tests and the results of discussions with the parties involved in society, the management has concluded that there is considerable doubts about the company's ability to continue within 12 months from the date on which these financial statements were issued,” says the submission.

The bankruptcy of the Spirit last year has been the first for a large US airline since 2011.

Spirit was known for his bright yellow aircraft and was a pioneer of the budget company in the USA, but had through after a failed acquisition Jetblue Airways Last year, the consumer tasted of upscale products and a motor call call that has grounded many of his planes.
