Spirit Airlines on the vacation of 270 pilots, downsters more than 100 others

Spirit airlines On Monday it said that 270 pilots will be judged this autumn, while the airline is preparing for a smaller schedule outside the season to try to find his financial foot.
The airline will also downgrade 140 pilots from the captain to the first officer, according to a note to the aviators of the Air Line Pilots Association, its union. These downgrades will be effective on October 1st.
“We know how difficult this news applies and there is no dressing that the spirit will continue to shrink, and the value of pilot seniority and spirit career will continue to undermine,” said Ryan Muller, captain and chairman of the Alpa chapter of Spirit's Alpa.
The vacation will be effective on November 1st “in order to better reconcile the HR department with our flight schedule,” said the airline.

Spirit emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March and tried to win customers with upscale travel options that have developed better for years than the Bare-Bone coach tickets for whom Spirit is known.
“We take the necessary steps to ensure that we work as efficiently as possible as part of our efforts to return to profitability,” Spirit told CNBC.
The airlines in the entire industry were softer this year, especially in the travel periods outside the peak times.
“We recognize the weight of this decision and undertake to treat all affected team members with compassion and respect during this process,” said Spirit.
Spirit also announced hundreds of pilot fucks last year when he approached his bankruptcy registration.
