Reuters announces that Shanghai authorities have helped Tesla reopen the factory, letters show

Reuters said Shanghai authorities helped Tesla transport over 6,000 workers and carry out the necessary disinfection work to reopen the factory last month amid the city’s lockdown. A letter seen by Reuters that Tesla sent to local officials outlined how far the city has gone to help the U.S. automaker and pointed to Tesla’s importance to Shanghai as the city seeks to resume business and at the same time curb the spread of COVID-19.
