Oscars 2023: Hugh Grant’s red carpet interview is awkward AF

Hugh Grant is really all about being spontaneous.

On the 2023 Oscars red carpet at the Dolby Theater on March 12, the Notting Hill graduate was interviewed by Ashley Graham. (See all the celebs on the red carpet here). However, the awkward exchange quickly made the rounds on social media – largely due to the actor’s lack of replies to the model’s questions about the evening.

When asked what he liked most about the awards show, Hugh simply replied that it was “fascinating,” adding that “all of humanity is here.” cheer the most, to which he replied, “No one in particular.”

And it didn’t end there.

When Ashley asked about the details of the actor’s fashion for the evening — aka who he had the pleasure of wearing — Hugh simply replied, “Just my suit.” As for all designers? The 62-year-old added he “can’t remember my tailor”.

And in case you were wondering if Hugh enjoyed his appearance in the Netflix movie Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery? You might just have to wait a lot longer to find out.
