Nicole Richie shares a rare glimpse of 15-year-old daughter Harlow

Nicole Richie celebrates all women in their lives.

The 41-year-old shared a rare photo with her and her husband Joel Madden‘s daughter Harlow, 15, gives a sweet glimpse of her Mother’s Day. In the picture, posted to her Instagram story on May 14, Nicole can be seen hugging her mother. Brenda Harvey Richiewith her sister Sophia Richie and Harlow on either side of her.

She rounded out the love for Mother’s Day by sharing some throwbacks to her mom. “Happy Mother’s Day to the mother of all mothers,” she wrote over a photo of her and Brenda in matching dresses. “Thank you for making sure the fits are right and snug in all the 80s.”

Nicole and Joel – who are also parents to a 13-year-old son sparrow– attended Sofia’s wedding recently Eliot graine together for the last month but otherwise keep their family life largely out of the spotlight. However, she has occasionally shared glimpses of her maternity journey, including in a social media tribute to Harlow on her birthday.

“Here you are 3 months old. Today you are 13,” Nicole captioned the January 2021 post. “You brighten my life with your presence and have no problem brightening my bedroom with your bright phone screen. Nothing beats watching you grow into the young woman you are. I’m so lucky to be your mother.”
