David harbor is head over heels with joy for his co-star Noah Schnaps.
After Noah came out as gay on Jan. 5, his Stranger Things castmate responded in an exclusive interview with E! News.
“I’m always happy to see people who stay true to themselves and come out,” David said of Noah’s announcement. “That was great.”
In a TikTok posted last month, Noah revealed how those closest to him reacted to the news, writing: “When I finally told my friends and family that I’m gay after 18 years in the closet was scared, they just said, ‘We know.'”
Noah captioned the post, “I think I’m more like Will than I thought I was,” a reference to his Stranger Things character, Will Byers. Throughout the four seasons of the Netflix drama, Will’s sexuality has been a topic of discussion among fans — and even Noah himself.
In July 2022, Noah said Will is “100 percent” gay and hopes his character has a coming out scene in the upcoming fifth season.
