Cureis Healthcare, a company for Managed Care Services, submitted a civil lawsuit against epic systems on Monday evening, in which the electronic health record (Ehr) carried out a “multiple company to destroy” Cureis business “Cureis.

Cureis offers technology and managed services for state programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and other state health initiatives. In a 40-page complaint published on Tuesday, Cureis claimed that EPIC has impaired its customer relationships, blocked access to necessary data and raised unfounded security concerns, among other things.

“Epic believes in free and fair competition, and we also believe that our customers are in the best position to choose the right solutions for their needs – whether Epic or other products and services,” said an epic spokesman for CNBC in an explanation. “We are aware of the complaint submitted by Cureis and look forward to providing the records directly in court.”

The lawsuit is the latest legal dispute against EPIC, in which medical documents are accommodated for around 280 million patients in the United States and offer other instruments for health care. The Data Startup Particle Health submitted a cartel lawsuit against the company in September, in which Epic used its dominance in the Ehr area to suppress the competition in other markets that use this data.

“The claims of the particles are unfounded,” said Epic at that time in an explanation of CNBC.

Cureis's lawsuit was submitted to the US district court for the Northern District of California. The company is represented by Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, the same company that represents particles.
