Alexis Ohanian takes on Olympia at daddy-daughter date night

Olympia Ohanian is already just like her mother in more ways than one. On March 10, Alexis Ohanian shared that he got his daughter Olympia a father-daughter date night with a bouquet of flowers. As if that wasn’t cute enough, the 5-year-old channeled her tennis star mum as she stole her dad’s coat after the evening turned chilly.

Alexis posted three photos to Instagram from her “date” night. In the first two, Olympia serves up an absolute look with purple heart-shaped glasses, daisy sandals and a wrist full of bracelets. But in the third, she grins at an outdoor restaurant while holding a bouquet of flowers and wearing her father’s suit jacket. “I took @olympiaohanian last night on her first date ❤️ Of course she got cold (as did her mum) and I gave her my jacket,” he captioned the adorable photos.

Though Alexis referred to their outing as Olympia’s first “date,” she and her father spend a lot of time together. They had a blast last summer attending a ‘Bridgerton’ tea party and touring all the sights in London while Williams competed at Wimbledon. The doting dad also took his daughter on a special trip to the Waffle House in 2022. (Waffle House played a key role in Alexis founding Reddit.)

Through it all, the Reddit founder has made it clear that fatherhood has changed his life for the better. In September 2022, he celebrated Olympia’s 5th birthday with a sweet tribute on Instagram. “How are you already 5️⃣ @olympiaohanian??” he wrote at the time. “I love you more every day, you’ve made me a better man, and I’m so thankful your mom brought you into this world 💪 I’ll piss you off forever!”
